Yes is there anyway to amend that policy at this point? ;) I imagine there are reasons for it, but I also imagine a several people drop in the three days leading up to the tournament and it would be awesome to get more ppl in there. Thanks so much for putting on an enormous tournament!

Sorry but no, once the waitlist is refunded we stop adding players. This is quite intentional due to all the prep work required and the fact that staff is traveling. We also don't replace no-shows because we won't know they are a true no-shows until Rd1 is completed. Players spend a lot of money to attend Worlds and we won't drop them simply because they are late due to a flight problem, car breakdown, or whatever caused them to be late.
