From the rules pack, I have some concerns:
Red Course tee times (the first tee time shown on discgolfscene.com) should be followed. You are not required to stick to the second tee time for the Blue Course though a brief break is allowed between courses. Since the layout includes 1-18 on the Red Course (normal tees) followed by 1-9 on the Blue Course, all players will be allowed this brief break between to use the restroom, grab a snack, refill water or get more liquids, etc. As this is a single 27-hole layout round, the round is still ongoing during the break so tournament rules are still in effect. The one caveat is that the Blue Course spotters will start their shifts beginning at 11:30am so the first card with the 8am tee time on Red won't be able to start on the Blue course until 11:30am.
So if we want to not be disadvantaged, we need to wait until 11:30, but we can't practice putt between them because this is a single round? I feel like this is unfair, especially for those of us playing early. I understand that we can play immediately after our round, but as you say above, snack, restroom, etc, but no practice putting? no ability to re-warm up after the break?
