I am new to disc golf tournaments and I want to join this tournament with my cousin because this is the only one available when he is in town. I think I could play well enough to fit in the MA3 division (by the PDGA description), but as this is my first tournament I don't know. I don't have a PDGA membership and we are both under 18. My first question is, should I spend the money on the membership to join this tournament with my cousin? If so, should I get the "junior membership" or will that make me not eligible for the Amateur divisions?
