All registered players received the below info in their email today.
We have an awesome round planned for everyone. Please see some basic event info below.
Please be sure to check in sometime between 8-8:40am BEFORE choosing your tournament stamped disc, picking up your player pack & a can of ice cold water. There will be more water available in our coolers by check in.
We will have a quick meeting starting at 8:40am & ending before 8:50am in order to disperse to our assigned holes.
Tee time will be at 9am for everyone from your assigned hole.
You can keep track of your score on the Udisc app under Mental Health Awareness Tournament or use the provided scorecard we give you at check in. Please turn in at the end of the round. If you choose to use the app, please use for scorekeeping only. Refer to the Caddy Book for tournament details.
Every player pack has two raffle tickets included. You will need these at the end of your round to verify if you have won something or not. We will be posting ticket numbers on a white board next to the item won but you must show your ticket for proof in order to receive your item(s). You can grab your winning item immediately following your round. MORE raffle tickets will be available the morning of the event BEFORE we tee off. To receive additional raffle tickets, use the donate QR code available at tournament HQ. You will receive one ticket for each dollar donated; for example donate $5 = 5 raffle tickets. All proceeds will be donated to NAMI Utah. Check out Dead Outside Disc Golf on Instagram to see everything that will be raffled off.
Restrooms are unfortunately closed & don't open until the following weekend. Currently there is one porta-potty on location in the parking lot.
After your round is done, you've turned in your score card & checked the white board to see if you've won any items, feel free to hang at the top of the course but we will be posting all scores by Saturday night so you can see where you placed.
Again, check the white board for your ticket number to see if you have won a raffle item(s). You can collect your winning item(s) immediately after your round is done. There is no after event ceremony/meeting.
The Event Roster attached in your email will show you:
The hole & color of the tee pad you are starting on for the event
Players on your card
Yellow slots will hopefully all be filled by tomorrow night. Possible extension into Friday if slots are not filled
I think I have filled everyone's requests to play on a card with certain peeps. Please call me out if I missed your request & I will do my best to accommodate.
The Caddy book in your email consists of:
Hole/Tee pad color
Distance to basket
Par for that hole
Any instruction specifically for that hole
A heads up on tee pads & holes that cross paths or could if over thrown or grip locked
Clear direction on what is OB
Basics for new players to read
