The conditions tonight were great! We didn’t grow this week, but we still had 16!! Let's finish the year strong! I’d love to see us hit 20 people for a night! ????
Highlights
Matt Pinkard (MPO) joined us for the first time this year and shot the hot round at 47 (-8)! Matt had 10 birdies on the night, somehow without a turkey?! Great shooting, Matt!
Robert Mayes had 8 birdies and a stretch of 5 birdies in a row (8-12)! #stackingturkeys
HOT STARTS: Robert Mayes (MA40) started on hole 7 and was -5 through his first 6 holes (7-12). Brad Maggard (MA40) birdied his first 2 holes and started -3 through 4 holes (1-4)! Richard Fisher (MA2) started -3 through 5 (7-11).
COMEBACK of the DAY: Blake Hohlbein (MPO) started +1 after 5 holes. He bounced back with a stretch of 9 birdies through 12 holes (6-17), with a #turkey on 6-8, and battled back to finish -7 on the round. #mentaltoughness
#STARFRAME: Matt Pinkard (MPO), Blake Hohlbein (MPO), Sebastian Dunham (MPO), and Brad Maggard had THREE star frames tonight on holes 11, 14, and 17. Robert Mayes (MA40), Richard Fisher (MA2), and Michael Pirkle (MA50) had a star frame on 11
HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHT: Ryan Firchau (Tecumseh) birdied hole 6 for his second week in a row and set a Personal Record, +7! Congratulations, Ryan! A Tecumseh High School Student has won every single week of the league. #undefeated

Blake Hohlbein (MPO) had the only birdie on hole 16 tonight. Blake is the only person to birdie hole 16 this league season and this is the third time Blake has birdied hole 16 this season.
Matt Pinkard (MPO) & Sebastian Dunham (MPO) had the only birdies on hole 15!
Sebastian Dunham birdied hole 7 (tucked) for the third week in a row. People seem to be figuring hole 7 (tucked) out more as there were 3 other birdies on it this week. (Blake Hohlbein, Richard Fisher, Josh Simpson)
Lowlights
There were 15 double bogeys (or worse). #ouch – This is the best we have ever seen though! Everyone is getting better! Keep practicing, everyone!
Nobody birdied 3 or 18. This is actually the closest we have come to the whole course getting birdied during a week of play. I would love to see a week where every hole on the course gets birdied by someone!
After 7 weeks, hole 18 still hasn’t been deuced.

Hole 4 – Matt Pinkard playing some great speed control, skipping before the basket and settling about 3-5 feet long of the pin. Matt was in the first group to play the hole and it stood all night! Great shot, Matt! $5 of club credit!
Hole 9 – Robert Mayes put it about 50 feet away and it somehow stood! He deserved it though as he made the bomb of a putt for birdie – the long birdie on 9 for the night! Nice couple of shots, Robert! $5 of club credit!
Hole 6 – (HS Only) – Ryan Firchau won! Ryan got a sick red Discraft hat!
Hole 11 – (HS Only) – Jayse Land won! Jayse got an awesome disc!
NOTE: Huge shout out to Michael Pirkle for stepping up and donating some sick discs and a sick hat for the High Schoolers tonight! These kids are plastic addicts, I’ll tell you what! I could hardly get out of there tonight without them surrounding my vehicle like zombies from The Walking Dead tv show. #walkers
