PLAYER NOTIFICATION
I spent $100 on Paint. It’s ALMOST enough. That said, I’m changing a COUPLE rulings:
-Champ Side-
Hole 7 - This is a TD declaration hole. The painted line across the bridge does NOT come into play until you establish a lie on the western side of the fairway(which is across the creek/bridge). After you have established lie across the creek, the painted line serves as an OB line. There is an “X” WITH A CIRCLE AROUND IT to determine the END of the OB line. It got painted too far forward so I marked the end with a circle. The end will ALSO be flagged. Surrounded by water otherwise is OB. Tee shots coming to rest across the creek to the south(basically Hole 8’s fairway/rough) that are NOT surrounded by water may re-tee with NO PENALTY.
Hole 8 - surrounded by water is OB. There is a painted line on the left of the fairway that determines OB as well. Throws coming to rest over that painted line(not touching it) are considered OB. Standard OB rules apply.
Hole 6 - the line got a little muddy for the base of the hill when being painted and wasn’t to my liking. I filled in the discrepancy and marked it “SAFE” with paint. This is a Threshold Hole. You must cross the threshold to be considered safe. Touching the line is NOT enough. Part of your disc must CROSS the threshold(the other side of the line). There is a painted DZ. If you cross the threshold(just barely), you may take up to 1 meter relief off of the line, towards the basket.
-Rec Side-
Hole 6 has an added OB line that runs left of the fairway and all the way behind the basket. No DZ.
Hole 7 Mando DZ will be marked on Friday. It’s likely going to be an easy forehand/lefty hyzer to the pin.
Hole 8 is a Threshold Hole. You must CROSS the threshold off the tee or proceed to the marked DZ. Touching the line is not enough. Your disc must penetrate the other side of the line, therefore crossing the threshold.
Other than that, I think we’re all set. Hole 5 triple mando on champ side is active, just not yet painted. You WILL have to take the gap under that tree. DZ will be ahead and still give you a shot up the fairway. The hole is punishing enough without calling it a mando.
