Blue Ridge Amateur ChampionshipsThis is your tournament director Callie McMorran. In this email you will find the course layout, link to the hole assignments, link to live scoring and more.
First, I want to thank you all for participating in this event!
Practice rounds:Friday is the official practice day for this event. For all registered players greens fees are half off on Friday only! ($5)
Course Layout: There is a caddy book for all layouts attached below. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE RIGHT ONE FOR YOUR DIVISION! Cell service can be hit or miss at North Cove so I recommend saving this on your phone.
Tee time assignments: Here is the link to your hole assignment, if this is your first PDGA Tournament please note that your hole assignment can change before the event starts. ( I still have people dropping out). Also, note that your hole/tee-time assignment will likely change for round 2. When you click on the link scroll down to your name, by your name will be a number under the "hole/tee-time" column. This is the hole/tee-time you will be starting at.

Check-in:Please arrive at the course with plenty of time to go through the check-in process. When you arrive you will need to come to the North Cove Pro Shop to check in and grab your players pack (custom disc and a custom mini). Check-in starts at 8:45am on Saturday. There is early check-in on Friday from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
Live Scoring:Here is the link to the live scoring website. On every card two players will be required to keep score through this website. Yes, I said two. The PDGA has just changed the website so that two players can keep score at the same time. This allows the website to check for errors as you play your round.
Access code to live scoring will be given on Saturday.

Caddy Book:Is attached below. Please note that live scoring is the final rule for this event, not the caddy book!
Lunch: If you pre-paid for lunch please come to the Birdies bar and grill and collect these items.
Payout:Payout will be done through the North Cove Leisure Club pro shop on Sunday as each division finishes. Projected Payout will be posted on the PDGA website.

The caddie book fails to mention that sand traps play as hazard on the Boulders layouts. It is shown on the maps, but I am concerned that people will miss that if it's not verbalized in the OB rules.
