Hey everyone, with a heavy heart, I'm scaling back this tournament to something much more manageable given the timetable mother nature has set upon us.
Instead of a 4-day camping, glow and eating extravaganza, we'll be doing a two-round shotgun on just the 18 holes on Saturday. This will prevent us from having the 120 players I had hoped but will also remove the need for creating 6 temp holes on top of all the cleanup we need to do to accomplish the task of being able to put people through this event. It also limits ElevateUT's financial liability in the event that we need to cancel the event.
I will still have a player's pack of a disc with the Wunderment stamp, a Wunder branded silipint and some stickers for amateurs on this trophy only event.
Registration will open May 1st, please register. If we have to cancel because the water level is too high, that's a risk I'm willing to take and will issue refunds in the case of that happening.
The Wunderment is ElevateUT Disc Golf 501(c)(3)'s main fundraising effort for the year, and I'm really hoping it works out so that we can continue to benefit disc golf in Utah.
If you are interested in helping make sure that this event can happen, we'll need some large-scale volunteer effort to help get the course ready. Please visit
https://www.elevateut.com/take-action and join the volunteer program so that we can communicate updates to you.
Thanks, and hopefully see you in May!
