Hello, We are opening up an MA4 division, Mixed Amateur 4. You will feel comfortable playing in this division if your player rating will stay under < 850 for the rest of the tournament year.
Here is how the PDGA describes MA4;
Mixed Amateur 4 (MA4) – available to amateur players of all ages with player ratings < 850. For beginning and casual players who are learning basic Frisbee® and disc golf skills. Throw 175-250 feet, make 3-5/10 putts from 20 feet, can throw backhand with some accuracy.
The MA4 division will play the Red course twice, along with FA3 and the Junior divisions.
The PDGA division structure can seem daunting at first. As new tournament players qualify for many Amateur divisions some age protected, some gender protected. Feel free to ask questions. Cheers
