I have gone ahead and done a digital mockup of the hole we will be playing in place of hole 15 for the Short-Orange Layout. It can be found in the pictures section on Disc Golf Scene.
I will determine and communicate the distance with everyone before you go out on Thursday. This is a par 3 and I estimate it will be somewhere around 300'. I will also make sure that the Island and drop zone are clearly marked with flags to avoid confusion.
I talked with Justin Choka to come up with something that isn't just a basic wide open 250' shot with no danger. This hole should be completely out of the way of all other activities going on at FOD, and it should play harder than the true hole 15 so ratings should benefit a little bit.
We should finally be able to play long to yellow in one of the upcoming weeks, and there will be a different replacement hole for that layout.
