I walked the course on Monday, made notes of areas that needed attention, and passed those along to the park. While true that there are some trees and branches have come down as a result of the two major sized storm systems that have come through the midwest, navigating the course is still very manageable. A few spots may be tight for those that choose to utilize a cart. I have been talking with the parks staff about the areas that need the most attention in preparation for the event this weekend. We will have a plan in place to utilize a temp hole or two for any holes that may still need attention by the time the event starts on Saturday morning.

Thank you! We made it through our practice round yesterday okay but just wanted to check since it didn’t look like much change from last week after the storms. Specifically 10 fairway, 3 teepad/path area and path to 6 being a little journey through the woods.

3 and 10 are the major areas that I asked for them to consider....the path from 5-6 was a fun little walk. Other areas had less impact on play (as in branches down that needed to be moved/dragged away).
