Due to all the snow and ice that has covered my beautiful OB and Hazard lines yesterday we will be changing some things up.
Hole 5 will be the ONLY hole with artificial OB lines we’ll be using on the course Sunday. I marked that with flags pretty good. Use the rules in the PDGA scorecard for that hole.
In or over the river is OB on 7, 8 & 9.
Over the fence on 16, 17 and 18 is OB
On or over pavement on 13,15, 16, 17 & 18 is OB.
Ah yes! Michigan golf! I just want to provide a smooth event for you guys and having a course with a ton of OB lines covered with snow and ice is not the way I want to do it. So just grip it and rip it I guess. I’m sure some of you are extremely upset by this but I assure you we’ll have the course set up the way it’s meant to be when we good weather. Thank you for understanding.
FYI There is only about 2” of snow on the course so not too bad. The park crew is clearing the tee boxes and they plowed the main road to define the OB line for us in 16 & 18.
There will be an official player meeting posted later today.
