Help with round 2 rules. Example: we all tee, and we select player A's drive. Players B and C then play the second shot. Now what happens?

1) if we select player B's second shot, do players A and C then play the third?

2) or because we played the A drive, do players B/C basically play doubles to finish out the hole?

The writeup says something like "continues this way" -- but there's more than one way to interpret that statement ...
