I wouldn’t either. Because it’s going to be trophy only with a bonus payout to the top 10% of amateur divisions. I think that if a tournament has nearly 400 players that we’re clearly making the masses happy. Can’t please everyone but yet we will still continue to try. Please keep your criticism to constructive.

See what TD's get for trying to make everyone happy^^ Running tournaments is the same as playing the sport, you learn from your mistakes, you practice, you get better...If you're not then you're doing something wrong. If you're this critical of tournament staff I'd hate to see how you treat yourself when your game isn't as good as you want it to be.

To be fair it was quite low last year. However, that is mostly due to the "40%" rule. Glad to hear this year will be trophy only and pay out the top. Much better design imo. I also think adding a reduced fee for no players pack would be a great feature.

There’s definitely plenty of research that goes into making these decisions. Trying to appease everyone last year made for a very underwhelming payout and splitting payout and players packs is by far the least voted on option in some polls we’ve done. I wish more people would take your stance and continue to give valuable input instead of jumping to conclusions without all the information at their fingertips.
