Tomorrow will be our "Wheel of Misfortune" league night with the Wheel in play for Round 3.
For those unfamiliar with the "Wheel," this is a large wheel that will be spun by each player on your card and the landing point on the wheel will determine what type of basket you will putt on for ROUND 3 ONLY!!! This will be the possibilities for the Wheel for this round:
- Standard Basket
- Mini Basket (putt with Minis)
- Macro Basket (putt with Macro discs)
- Precision Basket
- Innova Discatcher (fabric)
- Elevated Standard Basket
- Low Standard Basket
- Elevated Precision Basket
- Low Precision Basket
Each card will do all spins before the round so that players with like targets can putt consecutive to minimize moving targets around.
I've also decided for Round 2 to mix it up a little with a version of our "Threes" game. Players will roll 1 die once to determine what type of putt they will have. They will then roll the 1 die again to determine how many stations they will put from using this style of putt.
Below are the roll values for the FIRST roll for each player
1 - Kneeling / Sitting Putt
2 - Turbo Putt
3 - Standard Putt
4 - Backwards Putt
5 - Stool Putt
6 - Off-Hand Putt
Below are the roll values for the SECOND roll for each player:
1 - 1 station only
2 - 1st and 2nd stations
3 - NO STATIONS
4 - stations 1-3
5 - stations 1-4
6 - stations 1-5
As you can see, an optimal roll is 3 for each round. If you roll a 3 in the first roll, you can use standard putts for all 5 stations. If you roll a 3 in the 2nd round, it allows you to negate the first roll and putt standard for all stations.
I will have printouts of the rules for this to help keep it simple and will also go over it again before the league night begins.
See you all tomorrow!!!
