In case you missed it in the earlier post, we got our League basket last week and it will be put into action today. This will be the same basket that is raffled off at the end of the season for those who have paid their league entry fee. For those who have paid their league entry fee, they will earn one ticket for each league night that they have competed in. So the more you play, the more chances you have. The raffle will happen at the League Party and that date and details will be communicated once they are established. If we get enough entries to buy a Mini, Macro or Precision Basket, I will add that on to the raffle. The League Party fund will also cap at $275 and the remaining funds from that will go towards more prizes to be raffled.
On the last league night of January (1/31/23), we will be holding out League Swap Meet. This will be when league members can bring their discs in for trade or sale with other league members. It may be a good idea to discuss among yourselves if you have any needs for possible trades or purchases.
On this same night, we will bring out the "Wheel of Misfortune" for Round 3 and Possibly Round 2. For those who are unfamiliar with the "Wheel," each player will spin the wheel to determine what basket or obstacle they will have to contend with during the round. This could include Precision Basket, Innova Fabric Discatcher target, Elevated Basket, Short Basket, or whatever else I can come up. This is generally a fun night as it adds a little twist to it for all players.
Also, Valentine's Day falls on a Tuesday this year. There will be NO league that day. League will be extended at least through the first week of March to make up for the missed week.
