Hello and good morning!
First and foremost we'd like to thank you for registering to participate in Dayton Disc Golf presents Opening Day 2023 @ Twin Creek DGC this Sunday in Germantown, OH.
We're actively watching the pending forecast for the next couple days & this has raised potential concerns with course conditions at Kercher Park. Similarly to 2019, there is potential for the course to be unplayable.
If in the unfortunate event the Twin Creeks of Germantown overflow into the course, and it's been deemed unplayable - the plan is to move the event to Sycamore Trails DGC in Miamisburg, OH.
Additionally, if the location changes, we will have to reduce the festivities to just 1 Round due to time constraints.
>>> As of this moment, the course looks to be fair & playable but we felt it in the best interest of all to be aware of this potential change.
A final decision will be made as late as 8am Sunday. Please keep an eye on your email, social media, and DiscGolfScene.
