A Pool vs B Pool Split

I've had a few inquiries about the scores from last week since we had 2 B Players who would have finished in the top 5 in A Pool. Keep in mind this is a PUTTING LEAGUE and on some nights players may be either on or off and scores may show a high spread from week to week for players and within each Pool. The whole point of this league is to build consistency and have a good time during the off season with the DG community.

With that being said, those who choose to play B Pool are playing for much less money. But the point of this B Pool is to keep competition fair for new and true lower-level players. This has led me to make the following decision:
We will now have a separate Women's Division on nights when there is at least 2 women present who want to be in their own Pool. They will compete against each other only and their entries will determine payouts like the other pools. Women will always have the option to play A or B Pool if they choose. But I want them to have fair competition.

I will also be monitoring scores for each player. If you consistently finish with a score in the top 50% of the A Pool and compete in B Pool, you will be asked to play where your competition level is. The other option is a Handicap League. But that will not work with our current format of changing it up for the 3rd round and would force us to have straight putts with no basket changes or obstacles to mix it up. That is something I have no interest in.

As always, if you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know. This league is meant to be competitive and fun. So we need to do what we can to keep both applied week to week.
