WOW! What a great, beautiful, and eventful weekend! The Victoria Invitational has become a must play top tier event and it was such a pleasure & honor to be the Tournament Director! What a way to close the year out with my favorite people!
My job is to always give you the best player experience, educate, uphold the integrity of our game and show you how fantastic the Texas disc golf scene can be, the best scene! All the preparation, communication and efforts months prior to the event make any Onestar Disc Golf and Gorilla Disc Golf events something special as the smallest details are always considered with a player’s perspective in mind. Chris Vandagriff and I constantly discuss disc golf events, how to improve, brag on our teams and challenge each other to make the next one better for you all! I’m sure Chris and I will already be talking tomorrow about Vic Open and Texas States for 2023, lol. Sponsors and Player sponsors thank you so much as you help us get the water, Gatorades, snacks, signs and make it such a great experience! Thank you Joel Novosad with Explore Victoria Texas for the player disccount cards and the host hotels for the players! I want to thank the Onestar Disc Golf Team for all the hard work they do before, during and after the event! The God Father Tres VanDusen is an absolute super star and Justin Lesikar and Ryan DeSpain were a huge help setting up the course and tearing it down!
