Hey everyone,
We spent the day out at Serene yesterday getting it ready for this weekend. The course is set up and the baskets are in all the AM day settings. Please read this short email entirely and pass it along to your friends that are playing. At the end I will post the differences in layout between AM and Pro days.
OFFICIAL UPDATES (these will be emailed to players also)
1. SCHEDULE- I didn’t realize it but discgolfscene said we were teeing off at 9:30am. This is incorrect. Tee time is at 9:00am with check in from 7:45-8:30am as it says in the official players guide/players meeting email that was sent out Wednesday. Pro day check in from 8:00-8:30am.
2. HOLE RULE UPDATES- hole 2 and 3 have updated rules to make them a lot simpler. This is updated on the tee signs.
Hole 2- will now play pond only as OB. The pond is marked by flags. When judging the OB line go flag to flag, if it’s too close to call, benefit to the player. For pro day, please use a spotter as we will be playing a new (temp) tee pad and it’s a blind shot. All OB drives to the drop zone. Standard OB rules after the drive. All water up by the basket is casual.
Hole 3- Pond OB and in the creek right of the basket. Pond is marked by flag line. All land is safe outside of the flags. The creek is not flagged and to be considered OB in it, you would need to be completely surrounded by water. All OB drives go to the drop zone. Standard OB rules after the drive.
Layout differences-
Hole 2- AM Day play paved teepad, Pro Day play new turf tee pad.
Hole 10- AM Day playing middle setting, Pro Day playing Long setting
Hole 11- AM Day playing short Right par 4 setting, Pro Day Long Left Par 4 setting
Hole 14- AM Day playing middle setting, Pro Day playing Long left setting
