Thank you for signing up for the Bring Your Own BOO Doubles FUNdraiser for the 2023 Evergreen Women’s Disc Golf Series!
Some information to get you ready for Sunday -
Schedule:
Check in will start at 9:00 and finish up by 9:45. After check-in please proceed to your assigned starting hole. Shotgun start at 10am.
Weather:
The weather does not look awesome for Sunday. BUT, that could get better... or worse. This is a rain or shine event. If you know you intend to bail out because of the weather, please let me know ASAP! Refunds will be offered if you let me know by midnight on Thursday.
If the forecast is for a lot of rain, I will change the plans to everyone throwing red to short (A) for ease of play.
The event will be cancelled (or rebranded to Bring Your Own Turkey... maybe) only if winds are forecasted to be high. It is just not smart to play disc golf in the woods in high winds. I will send a final email on Friday or Saturday confirming the weather situation and final pin assignments, etc.
Doubles Format:
Keeping in mind that this is a non-sanctioned event, please be respectful and follow the basic disc golf rules. This event will be a best throw doubles event (PDGA guidelines for format in section B.05.A -

Boos (Mulligans):
Each team can purchase up to 5 Boos (or Mulligans). If you have not done so already, you can bring exact cash on Sunday or pay via paypal ($5 for 1 and 5 for $20). You will need to identify that you are using a boo prior to the re-throw). Both team members can re-throw per 1 boo.
Scorekeeping:
I am working on setting up a UDisc event for scoring purposes. Please make sure you or your partner have the app downloaded. You will be sent an email once the event has been set up.
Payouts and CTPs:
CTPs or “Closest to The Pin” is the person whose disc lands the closest to the basket on the drive. CTPs markers will be outdoor halloween lights so be on the lookout for the CTP for your division. If you are the last group to play a hole, please pick up the CTP "flag" and bring it back to Nikole, even if it’s not for your division's CTP.
Payouts will be distributed via PayPal within the following week. If you are not around to claim your CTP prize after the event it will be available at 360 Disc Golf the following week.
Costume Contest:
Prizes will be awarded for the following:
Best team costume
Best team costume - coed
Best individual costume
