We are less than a week away!!! Right now the forecast looks dry for the weekend until early evening Sunday. We have gotten A LOT of rain over the past couple days with more to come tomorrow and Wednesday. I'll be out at the course on Wednesday and Friday to assess the conditions for the event. If course conditions dictate, the Island and/or the Platform may be deemed unsafe and unplayable. More to come on that after this unstable weather pattern passes by.

The plan will be to send groups out as 3-somes if possible on Saturday. This will speed up the round and help get the day finished quicker. For Sunday's round, lead cards in each division will be play as 4-somes and the rest of the players will be filtered down accordingly.

I also noticed that I did not have MA40 listed as playing the Platform Tee (Gold #3) for the Long Basket Round on Saturday. My preference is to have all players play the same tees. So if we get a group consensus, all fields will play this tee. If some divisions choose not to, and others do, that is also not an issue. But the decision will need to be made before players head to the out to the course for their Saturday rounds so that the PDGA live scoring can be accurate.

Event OBs and Special Rules will be posted tomorrow. I do have a Spotter for the round on Saturday for the Island. This will help keep the pace moving and groups will start on the course to ensure that hole is played earlier in the round.
