Mike and I put out all new tee markers, marked all tees with a generous width for your best footing, all obs are marked with paint or stakes
We removed 13s basket from the hole it’s been in and refugee and set it up on the open flat of the upper tier-14 remained as its always been
We removed 16s basket from the field it was in and placed it as a new hole in line with the original 18th hole- the tee is next to 17s basket, the hole is 240’ long and plays as one tee for long and short with the basket to the right of the 17th tee-hole 20 will be the 18th hole for this tournament
The course was mowed and cleaned up and looks great
Mike never asked for help and always gets his courses ready for tee times on the first day
We worked 4 hrs with a borrowed gator from the city and the help of a loader backhoe to pull the two baskets- we hand dug the baskets with concrete filled buckets into their new positions
Please try to understand what all TDS go through to get us playing these tournaments
I’ve only volunteered twice- both times at this course with Mike because the other tds I know have had group help to get theirs ready
Volunteer once and you’ll understand better what it takes to get you to your first shot
