Appears that I was mistaken about the gps being reliable to get here. Someone said it will try and have you turn left too early.
When you are following millstone plantation road, keep going straight towards the lake when the road forks and you can go straight onto unpaved rocky road or left onto paved road.

There is a gate to the entrance that lets you know you are in the right spot.
