General Rules:
-This course borders a shooting range on holes 7, 11, and 14. Please be cognizant of this fact.
There are OB lines and an ample amount of space until the range, but please don’t go
wondering off too far.
-Please refer to the tee signs for all OB and Mandos with exception of hole #10. Because of
the clean up needed on hole #10, we will instead play to a short temporary basket for this
tournament. The other tee signs will give you all the information needed.
-The Two Meter Rule is not in effect.
-Please be mindful of walkers in the woods.
-This course is like Boulder Woods in that a cart is possible, but probably not preferred.
-Fairview still needs beat in a bit. We have spent hundreds of hours clearing trees and debris,
but there are still too many piles of wood and thorn bushes just off the fairways. Competitors
are allowed to take casual relief from these obstacles at the discretion of their cardmates.
Casual relief shall be given in a straight line away from basket. I don’t want anyone throwing
on top of a log pile or in thorns. No more than a couple feet relief should ever be needed.
-Trophies for MA1, MA2, and MA3 from Norse Gods Spring League will be available for
pickup.
-PDGA Live Scoring can be done at https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/login
-Password: Gobrecht
-Each group will be expected to keep 2 scorecards. I would prefer both to be PDGA Live
Scoring, but I will always have paper cards if needed as well. Please do not submit any scores
if there are discrepancies without speaking to Eric Hess first. Cards are to be submitted
electronically or physically within 30 minutes of completing round.
-Have fun! I am currently not scheduled to play as I’ll be on 3 hours of sleep, but I may change
my mind. Nathan and Kayla won’t be there to help, so I may be needed most at tournament
central.
-Players have 3 minutes to find a lost disc once all players in the group are actively
helping to find the disc. If disc is not found, player must throw from previous lie with an
additional penalty stroke. If the lost disc was seen going OB by the card, then normal OB rules
would apply.
-AM payouts will be done on site to Central PA Disc Golf.
-Pro payouts will be in cash.
-Players pack will be 2 discs from The Norse Gods stock. This tournament is called The
Harvest because I plan to get rid of all the stuff from this year. All card winners from the first
round will receive a Norse Gods stamped towel. Lots of CTP’s.
Hole Specific Rules
HOLE 1- 368 ft – Par 3 – OB on and across road left of fairway and behind basket.
HOLE 2- 346 ft – Par 3 – Two kidney shaped hazard bunkers by basket. Play disc where it lies but add
a stroke.
HOLE 3- 653 ft – Par 4 – OB everywhere. The white stakes represent OB boundary on fairway. OB will
be clearly marked around tee and around basket with orange stakes. Large mound with brush by
basket is not OB. Players can take casual relief in a straight line away from basket when landing on this
mound.
HOLE 4- 282 ft – Par 3 – OB right and long marked by stakes. All OB tee shots proceed to drop zone.
All other OB shots follow normal OB rules.
HOLE 5- 274 ft – Par 3 – OB on and across road right of fairway. Mando right of tree. All missed mando
shots proceed to drop zone with stroke penalty. Beat up gravel service road is not OB.
HOLE 6- 256 ft – Par 3 – OB left of fairway. Normal OB rules apply.
HOLE 7- 260 ft – Par 3 – OB left of fairway. Normal OB rules apply.
HOLE 8- 268 ft – Par 3
HOLE 9- 222 ft – Par 3 – OB on and across walkway right of
fairway.
HOLE 10- 175 ft – Par 3 – TEMP BASKET
HOLE 11- 318 ft – Par 3 – OB right of basket marked by stakes.
HOLE 12- 247 ft – Par 3 – OB long and left of basket.
HOLE 13- 285 ft – Par 3
HOLE 14- 213 ft – Par 3 – Mando right of big tree. OB behind basket. This is the closest spot to
Columbia Fish and Game. Missed mando proceed to drop zone with a stroke penalty.
HOLE 15- 231 ft – Par 3 – Good Luck.
HOLE 16- 273 ft – Par 3 – OB long of basket beyond logs.
HOLE 17- 406 ft – Par 3
HOLE 18- 592 ft – Par 4 – OB right of wooded fairway.
