Hey fam!

The Oak Hollow Open is one of the most anticipated disc golf tournaments of the year, I first played this event in 2016 and I'm honored to have been a part of it. This year, the tournament was made possible by the hard work of our staff members and volunteers, as well as the generous sponsors who provided added cash for the pros and swag for the amateurs. The players really seemed to appreciate all the effort that went into making this event a success, and we received a lot of positive feedback about the course design, the player's packs, and the overall atmosphere of the event. We want to give a big thank you to everyone who helped make this tournament possible, and we're looking forward to the Keeley Park Fallback Classic in October!

As always, please provide feedback using the following survey --tell us what you loved about the tournament and where you think we need to improve. https://s.surveyplanet.com/rvd565wy

Congrats to our winners for grinding out there in the heat all weekend. First place trophies will be engraved with your name and mailed asap. Please reply to this email with your mailing address. If you did not receive your 2nd or 3rd place trophy, please reply with your mailing address.

Staff and volunteer appreciation
Ben Osborne our assistant TD for running front of the house, social media, and player communication
Drew Runnfeldt and Phil Lawrence for their hard work as Course Directors
Mitch Dickens, Joshua Moody, and Jared Askew for designing the course
Mitch also built a teepad onsite, marked OB lines and provided support when setting course rules --he went ham!
Matt Kendle and the 10+ people who showed up for the workday at JSP...that was a lot of trimming!
Tim Spurgeon & High Point P&R for all of the work that goes into prepping the facility, keeping cold water on the course, and closing the parks for us
Andrew Nooe for assisting Phil at JSP and directing traffic out in the hot sun --MVP!
Bill Griffin for basket repair, transport, and setup/breakdown Fri-Sun before and after his rounds
Phillip Romo for hauling baskets around Festival everyday and providing some much needed comedic relief
Nicholas Morningstar for printing our tee signs and providing logistical support
The many others who helped us throughout the weekend - Eddie Garman, Dan Elliott, Joshua Burr, Logan Staton, Amy Neidermeyer, Elaine King, Eric Vandenburg, Michelle Griffin, and the rest of you rock stars out there! (sorry if I missed your name here...there were so many people helping that it was difficult to keep track!)

Our sponsors were the lifeblood of this event so please do everything you can to support them as we continue to build our relationships with the greater community.

Oak Hollow Disc Golf Club is being restructured and this event was a test run...I think it's safe to say we're on the right track.

Thanks,
Oak Hollow Disc Golf Management Committee
