hello Kayak point ppl, I have a question. My tournament official status expired a few years ago and have not taken the new test, so this may be a dumb question...but...why did I receive a score of 231 in the 1st round? I understand the fault was my own in my inability to arrive on time for my tee time, but if I didn't throw a single shot why was i given a score? Should I have completely withdrawn and not come to play on Sunday? In the past, I have seen an 888 or some other indicator used that the player was not there, or withdrew for questionable reasons. This was the 1st time I had this kind of attendance problem and would like to be better prepared to make the right decision in the future. That is most assuredly the biggest score/ worst round I have ever recorded and don't want to influence my already meager rating in the future.
