There are only total 45 players allowed in the tournament. I believe it is still first come first serve. So regardless of what division someone drops out of, the person who is on the master waitlist first can join. I'm honestly not sure how disc golf scene works it out. Next time we will just make one overall waitlist because a lot of people have been confused. We thought it would be helpful to have different division waitlists but its only becoming a headache.

Megan, I noticed that you would probably never have gotten in at all if I had not changed it to one list. When the waitlist was split by divisions, the only way you would have gotten in would be if the other lady in your division dropped out. So this is actually better for the females now.

I get it. I was speaking in general. It's a bummer for women because many times with smaller events it seems there's no room for us. Would have been dope to see 5 or so spots reserved for ladies and then pull people in from the wait list if those spots didn't get filled. Just trying to get more ladies out throwing, grow the sport????

Yes I understand but I figured it would be more fair to be first come first serve. Maybe we will reserve spots for women next tournament, but I guarantee you there will then be people complaining that we are reserving spots for women. I do understand what you mean though. I do like the idea where you reserve spots for women and then pull form a waitlist if they don't get filled.
