Stroke and distance on holes 8 & 9 does not make sense if there is a drop zone or provisional? Stroke and distance means penalty and re-throw from previous spot. Please clarify the rules for these holes. Thanks.

According to the rules, a drop zone may be used on a hole in the event of a lost disc. A player has the option of going to the drop zone OR re-teeing. By throwing a provisional shot, that forfeits the use of the drop zone. A player doesn't get to throw a provisional and decide between that throw or the drop zone. Hopefully you find your original disc within the allotted 3 minutes and none of this will matter.... Lol
