Tuesday Twos Finals are TODAY! WOOO! It should be a perfect evening to close out the season.
Here's everything you need to know for tonight:
Sign-ups will start at 5pm tonight!
The top 18 people in the season standings (see previous post or DiscGolfScene) will be paired at random to complete for the Doubles Season Championship. $900 of cash and gift cards are up for grabs with the following payouts:
1st Place: $100 each + $20 ADDG gift card + trophy
2nd Place: $75 each + $20 ADDG gift card + trophy
3rd Place: $50 each + $20 ADDG gift card + trophy
4th: $50 each
5th: $40 each
6th: $30 each
7th: $20 each
8th/9th: $10 each
Doubles will also be ran for the 36 other lucky people that get signed up in time. Entry for everyone tonight will still be $6. For non-finalists, $1 to the general ace pot and $5 to payouts for non-finalists. For Finalists, $1 to general ace pot, and a separate $5 ace pot for Finalists only. $47 from last week will carry over to the general ace pot. If no one hits an ace, we will do a CTP throw-off for the general ace pot. If a non-finalist hits an ace, the Finalists will do a separate race-to-ace throw off (throw until someone aces - will move closer if no one aces). We'll make it fun!
We will have a CTP on EVERY HOLE, available for EVERYONE. We will also have at least one Longest Putt, and possibly a Juniors and Ladies CTP if we have two or more of each.
The course layout (subject to change) is as follows:
Hole 1: long left basket (CTP)
Hole 2: marksman basket to right (CTP + Longest Putt)
Hole 3: basket over fence (CTP)
Hole 4: double mando through trees, unwind rule, no OB (CTP)
Hole 5: long tee, normal OBs (CTP)
Hole 6: basket on mound, grass OB (CTP + Longest Putt)
Hole 7: tee from path (CTP)
Hole 8: normal, normal OBs (CTP)
Hole 9: island green (CTP)
Rather than assigning prizes to each hole, every CTP and Longest Putt winner's slip will be drawn at random to determine the order in which winners will choose from the collection of prizes.
