Welcome and Thank You for signing up for Disc Golf Goes Pink 2022! This is a fun tournament so please treat it as such and have fun out there!
This email will serve as the players meeting, you should have received another email from Beth with raffle prize winners and additional information. If anything new pops up we will hold another meeting at 8:40 am tomorrow. Please check your tee assignments again before your round as I have had to make some changes, you may have moved. All players will be playing the same layouts for both rounds. Same pads, same baskets. I know it will be a race track for some of the better arms out there but just have fun with it please. Water will be provided at both courses, if you take a bottle out of the cooler, please replace it with another from the package next to it. Please bring your own water as well, there are a lot of folks this year.
Check-in and players pack pick-up will be from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM. We will do our best to have your players pack at the correct starting course, if we don't then just grab it before your second round at the other course. The first round begins at 9 AM.
We will break for lunch for 1 hour after the last card has completed their first round.
There will be food trucks at Oliver park. There are also plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes of both courses.
I will try and have round 2 assignments done as quickly as possible.
After round 2 is finished we will hold award Ceremony at Oliver Park under the Pavilion by the horse shoe pits.
We will have CTP for mens and women's divisions. CTP for Men will be hole 14 at Oliver Park and Women's will be Hole 18 at Oliver Park.
We will be using PDGA live scoring at pdga.com/score and the access code is pink (this is not case sensitive)
Two people on each card will keep the score and it will tell you each hole if they match.
All OB is listed in the scoring app. I have done my best to make sure they are up to date.
If there is a question and the card cannot resolve it, declare a provisional throw and play both shots out as normal. Take note of it, and bring it to your course TD at the end of the round before closing out the scores. Pool A (MA1,2and3) TD is Zach Hamrick Pool B (everyone else) TD is Ed Hoffman. Both of us plan to play in the event so just reach out to us at the end for resolutions if needed.
In the event of a playoff, Playoff will start at hole 1 on each course and play until there is a winner.
During play if there is lightning in the area, play will be suspended until the threat is gone. If there is a suspension of play, leave your shots where they lie and seek shelter. Suspension will be at least 30 min, you will be notified via email on a restart time, there will also be a course official to assist with the restart.
