COVID related:
If you are sick, STAY HOME! Let your captain know you won’t be making it.

There will be free water both at the flight center and out on the course courtesy of the Lemon Lake Flight Center.

If a trash can is full, please don’t stack trash next to it, find another can or pack it out.

The gate to the park does not open until 7:00am. Time your arrival for after 7. Do not go around the gate. Please wait for park staff to open the gate if you are there right at 7.

Lunch
Grab and go lunch available for a $5 donation in the pro shop. Lunch tickets can be purchased at checkin. There will be enough for all. Sheet cake for all players available after round 2.

PDGA digital scorecard (not uDisc)
This is the primary means of keeping score. This will reduce the touch points for staff and allow us a much faster turnaround at lunch. Instructions on using the digital scorecard can be found here: https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/help
To login to the digital scorecard, the URL is https://pdga.com/score
The captains will have the access code for you when you checkin
After entering you enter your PDGA number (or last name if not a member). Tap on your name.
You will be able to see your hole assignment when it is ready. If you haven’t checked in, it will remind you that you need to checkin with your club captain.
Hole assignments can also be found on the PDGA event page: https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/61612

At least two people per group will need to keep score via the digital scorecard. With digital scoring we will also have live scoring, so you will also be able to see everyone else’s progress in the event through a link in the digital score card to https://pdga.com/live .

Win your card
For Round 2 only. If you won your card, please find Tom at the scorer’s tent to claim your box of candy from Discontinuum at the end of that round. If there is a tie, most 2’s breaks it. If there is still a tie, the last bogies, breaks it.

Course Rules

Course Rules are in the PDGA digital scorecard. They appear as a small banner on each hole. If the rule for the hole does not fit in one line, tapping on it will reveal the rest of the rules for the hole. If you are the scorekeeper, please read these to the rest of the card at each tee.
Pool A: Silver / Red
Pool B: Red / Silver
Pool C: White / Blue
Pool D: Blue / White

Everything is really green right now as we have had ideal growing conditions for pretty much everything. Keep an eye on your discs, especially if the throw was lousy. Keep watching it in all of its miserable glory. Pay attention when your card mates are throwing as well. Friendly reminder to set a 3 minute timer if looking for a lost disc to keep the event moving.

Poison Ivy is also one of those green things growing well right now. Some holes on the course have been recently sprayed to keep it at bay. You may want to consider wearing long socks and pants.

You may take casual relief from poison ivy.

Like other courses these days, Mosquitos can be plentiful at Lemon. Use bug spray. If you forget, there will be some at the pro shop on hand to get a quick squirt. Do not spray indoors, Duh!

Be mindful when off the fairway for potential wasp/hornet hives. There are none that we currently are aware of, but it is normal for a number of them to pop up this time of year. Look both down at the ground and up above. Wasps can get aggressive. Please take appropriate casual relief if necessary.

Ace and CTP
Aces and CTPs are done per pool. Cash CTPs are round one only. They will be paid out via paypal to the address you registered with. If that is not your paypal address and you believe you won either of these, please see the tournament staff to give your information. Unhit ace pots will be used as added cash for an IOS tournament.
Other information and results will be posted in the facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/415223883907201
