Now, everybody sing along with me, "All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...." I spent a good part of last night while my wife was on a Zoom call bagging up the discs for the Lost and Found Round on the 11th. I think there is a little over 30 bags with a box of leftovers that will also be available.
Hopefully you all remember the drill. This is the fundraiser for the course at North Star Reach. (please Google for more information). For $20, you get a bag and two random discs. Could be a driver and a putter, a fairway and a mid, a driver and a mid or a fairway and a putter. Anyway, something to throw toward the basket and something to put in the basket. As I mentioned above, we have extras. I have almost a full Trotter box of drivers and fairways that will be available, with a limit of ONE for $10 apiece. Sorry, no extra putters or mids. Those don't seem to get as lost as the driver variety.
This year we will also have Mulligans. Since we are playing at Mary Beth Doyle, there will be a 5 Mulligan limit. C'mon, not that long of a course. Mulligans are a buck apiece.
The regular TWIZBEE ace pool and CTPs will not be in play, but, if anyone wants to donate a disc for a certain hole, that will be totally acceptable. And, if you want to throw some money into the 2022 Lost and Found Bowl for a makeshift ace pool, we can do that as well. If no one hits an ace, we can do a throw off to 18 using one of the discs you got in your bag for half the pot.
This will all take place on August 11 at Mary Beth Doyle, the course with the smallest parking lot. Get there early, but please try to save a space for Steve and myself. Besides needing to be close with all the discs we have to haul, c'mon, we're old.
That's all for now. Thanks for letting me carry on about a really good event. Hope to see you all there next week and at Kensington this week.
