Welcome to the 2022 Pac West Classic Presented by Resistance Discs!
Some notes for this week.
The park is doing everything they can this week to have the course as ready to play as possible. There are a few pin positions that need to be cleaned up before they are tournament ready.
When practicing, I would practice as many of the pin locations as possible. Pins will be moved throughout the weekend/tournament. The official round 1 layout should be in Thursday or Friday afternoon after I see how much work has been done by the park and the pin positions we will be able to play.
Parking: We will be using the regular parking area for disc golf, as well as the oak grove area that is left of 18's fairway and the parking lot on the practice basket side of 1. Please refrain from parking in the field where horse trailers park. We do not have parking in that field. We should have enough parking, however Wheatland is a public park and we can't say how many non disc golfers will be at the park on a given day so please car pool if you can.
Drop outs/refunds: If you drop after Wednesday at 8pm we will not be attempting to fill your spot. Per PDGA refund policy, any player who drops after this time will only receive a 25% refund.
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended) will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walk-up entry (if offered). If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 25% cash refund OR just the player’s pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 25% cash refund.
Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack. This does NOT apply to a waitlist player; 1.03.B.
Am players packs/payout: Amateurs will be receiving a limited edition Corey Ellis Metallic CryZtal Undertaker as well as a PM Z Zone. All leftover amateur entries minus the value of players packs and tournament fees will be paid out via Resistance Discs scrip.
Tee times will be posted no later than Thursday at 8pm. Hole rules and tournament details will be sent out by that time as well.
