Players,
Thanks for choosing to play in the 2022 NADGT State Championship Series: Arkansas!
Check-in will begin at 7:45am on Saturday morning at Creekside DGC in Farmington. ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN THE MORNING OF THE EVENT. Full players' packs will be available for anyone who signed up before the shipping cutoff. If your full pack is not available in the morning, the remaining items will be mailed to the address you provided at registration.
Ace Pot: There will be an optional $5 ace pot. The ace pot already contains $310 from previous Arkansas NADGT events this year. Make sure you get in on that when you check in!
Hole assignments will be posted Friday evening, so you are free to go straight to your starting hole if you feel comfortable with the written OBs. The event is a shotgun start. We will start at 9:00 a.m. That means you should be on your hole and ready to throw at 9:00 a.m.
Weather: It has been very hot in Northwest Arkansas lately, but it seems like it will be cooler this weekend. Unfortunately, those cooler temperatures are the result of the high chances of rain. Please prepare accordingly!
Water: Players are encouraged to bring plenty of water for themselves, but water will be available throughout the courses.
OB Sheets will be available digitally, but printed copies will be available for each card. They are attached to DGScene and are loaded into the PDGA digital scorecards.
Player Experience, provided by Sonic Drive-In!
Lunch: Sonic will be providing lunch for players on both days of the tournament. The lunch will be available between rounds on Saturday, and will be available throughout the day on Sunday so you can eat around your tee times.
Side Games: Sonic has provided prizes for several different side games, including Long Drive Contest, Accuracy Contest, Putting Contest, and Skittles. Prizes will include a practice basket, a Zuca cart, Bushnell rangefinders, discs, and more! Players will have a chance to play each game just for registering, and there will be an option to purchase more attempts at any of the games to better your chances of winning the prizes.
Players Party at The Odd Soul: Sonic will be hosting the Players Party at The Odd Soul on Emma Ave in Springdale from 6:00-9:00pm on Saturday evening. The players party will be open to players, caddies, and all members of the community. Each player will receive two drinks and pizza for free. Additional drinks and food will be available for purchase from the bar. Weather permitting, we will have a Fastest Arm Contest. (Note: The Odd Soul is a 21+ establishment after 8:00pm)
Late Fee Refund: Sonic is being generous enough to cover the cost of the Late/Direct Shipping Fee of $10. If you paid this when you registered, you will have the option of having this money refunded or you can use it as credit for side games. If you did not pay the $10 fee upon registration, you will be credited $10 towards the side games.
Awards and Prizes: Side game finals will take place after the final card finishes on Sunday. Payout will be earned by the top 25% of each division. Division winners will receive a Trophy Pin - Provided by Disc Golf Pins. Winners of qualifying divisions (MA1, MA40, MA50, MA2, FA1, FA2, FA40) with 5+ players will earn an invitation to the National Championships in Austin, TX the last week in October.
Let us know if you have any questions. Look forward to seeing everyone on the course!
