The forecast lied to us, and we had a drizzly, humid evening with 52 players. 9 more new players this week, which is awesome! We definitely hope to see all of you soon though, as we haven't sold out for a few weeks.
Jeb Anderson and Abner Glas wasted no time in their hunt for the Next Adventure Perfect Round Bounty, as they made the course look easy with a -18 for an outright win by two strokes! They'll each be getting a $25 gift certificate to Next Adventure.
Birthday boy Ricky Ciani donated a sweet Discraft 4-claw Zone for longest putt on Hole 3 with the basket over the fence. Jeb hit the best putt of the night en route to his perfect round, and took home the prize. We also offered a 4th of July themed prize pack (red mini, white DX Cheetah, blue bandana, and an All Day Disc Golf hat) for CTP on the same hole, which was won by Jesse Wells. Nice shots!
And for the big cash prize... the ace pot! It reached a record amount, and two players came gunning for it. First ace of the night was on a shortened Hole 7 on the marksman basket by Ryan Meloche. And no more than 10 minutes later, Brody Cannon aced Hole 8! $132 was awarded for each of the aces. Brody's ace also secured him the Ace Bounty for a SWEET custom money clip, thanks to Sean McCarty of Shane Co. Next week we start fresh with a new ace pot!
