Tuesday was a picture perfect evening at Hunter Farm. With nicely cut fairways and nearly all of the rough cut, 31 disc golfers got to enjoy ideal weather conditions and a beautifully manicured course.
Playing the blue tees in this weekend's Spring's End Open tournament layout, there were a lot of league first timers seeking to get a practice round in before the event. Winning the Open division was Colby Howe with a score of -15, followed by Vinny Montanari with -13. Braden Hanahan tied for top score of the evening while winning Advanced with his -15, followed by Matthew Hardaway shooting -12. Elijah Ricciardi took the Intermediate division with a -10, with Jonathan Sosa close behind with -9. Ashley D'Angelo continued her dominance of the women's division with her +6 evening. Finally, Justy Brown won the Rec division with a score of Even par, followed by Cody Pebbles with +2.
Isaac Lightcap earned the Rec/Women CTP flag for $7 on hole 5 (second shot), while J. Gary Dropcho earned the Open/Adv/Int CTP flag for $21 on hole 4. The ace pot grew another $25 to total $258.
We'll be playing Hunter Farm again next week since the conditions are ideal, and Jon D'Angelo will be the TD.
