Good morning everyone!
Looks like we should have a great day on our hands. Cool and comfortable. The course is looking great (Big thanks to the Dover gang) and we have beautiful new baskets to throw to.
As you arrive we will be at the shelter near hole 5’s basket. When parking please try to use the side of the lot by the pool so if anyone may be using the pool today they will have ample parking. If you are parking by the shelter be mindful that long tee drives may bring you into play.
Most OB on the course is very simple. On or over paved road, on or over sidewalk’s, in or over the creek, in or on the shelter, across painted OB lines. Exceptions to that would be the small sidewalk crossing hole 5. It is in play. On hole 15 there is a service road on the right and at the top of the hill it intersects with a regular park road. The service road IS NOT OB, the regular road is. And on hole 19, the tee is on the hill at the corner of the pickle ball court. (The longs are marked with flags further back on grass) You throw over the road to the practice basket. The road plays as OB if you land on it. But it IS NOT an island hole. You can land safely before the road. There is also a line painted along the parking lot to the left of the hole, just under the caution tape. It connects with the play area that is also ob. Please be mindful of everything going on there. Cars driving thru. Guys teeing from white tees and park pedestrians.
