Email Numero 2
Getting closer and closer,
I'm just gonna start this email right here, running an event where everyone is on different courses is a whole different ball of wax. But I'm having a good time getting it all dialed and I'm looking forward to this event and the continued growth of the Utah Summer Games. Can't thank the team enough for working on courses and getting them ready.
Let's talk about this sponsor, our presenting sponsor: Infinite Discs Tour, aka Infinite Discs St. George, aka Mook and his team. They have provided so much to this event in terms of monetary donations, payouts, players packs...all the cool things.
They will be set up Friday afternoon at the Utah Summer Games Athlete Block Party on the west side of the Eccles Coliseum (that's the basketball arena). Go support them and pick up a new disc or two. They will also be set up Saturday just outside the SUU PE Building where we will be having the awards and Ring of Fire.
Tee Times are published (but also subject to change but I'll be emailing and posting if that happens) here:
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/56730
Layouts are on UDisc and courses are all set up for play. You'll find the layout labeled Utah Summer Games on each of our courses:
Parowan Canyon by Home Sweet Home Lip Balm
Ironsides (It didn't get a sponsor this year...)
Dryve at Three Peaks
Wild Pack Sports' Thunderbird Gardens
Checkin and Players Packs will be available Thursday after 2pm at the SUU PE Building. It's easy to find on google. I'll be set up inside (follow the Utah Summer Games flags) and be by the Rock Wall...just chillin' at a table.
SUU Recreation is also setting up a putting course around the building from 2-7pm so come give it a shot.
If you can't make it Thursday you'll need to come Friday after your round to the PE Building to get your players packs. If you can't make it Friday....then I guess you can pick it up Saturday too. If you can't do that also...shame upon you.
Before each round please be at hole 1 of your course, I think I said 15 minutes early in the last email. There will be one of the USG Volunteer course managers there ready to check you in.
If you aren't going to make it or need to drop out PLEASE let us know in advance...I hate giving out 888s!
Look forward to seeing everyone!
