Thank you for registering for the 2022 Duel in the Sun tournament presented by PureLine Disc Golf! This message will serve as the player meeting, so please be sure to read all the information.
EARLY CHECK-IN will be available at the course by hole 1 FRIDAY from 4:30pm-6pm. You will be able to grab your player pack (if applicable), shirt (if you bought one), and ensure you're in the ace fund at this time.
We do have a limited amount of extra shirts for sale $25
**All vehicles within the park must be in a marked space or they will be liable for citation.
Saturday morning check-in will be from 8am-9am at the pavilion by hole 1. We will NOT be having an in person player meeting. You will be able to find your starting hole on the PDGA event site(
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/58487). We suggest you check your starting hole Saturday morning in case any last minute changes occur. SHOTGUN START at 9:15am.

It is suggested that 2 players in each group keep score.
Please make sure everyone keeping a live score in your group CONFIRMS and SUBMITS the card at the end of both rounds.
Round 2 will begin approximately an hour after the last card from round 1 is submitted. The start time and your starting holes will be on the PDGA event site(

OBs & Layouts
Longs both rounds: MPO, MP40, MP50, MA1, FA1, MA40, MA50, MA2
Shorts both rounds: FA40, FA2, MA3, FA3, MA4
The image in the pictures section contains the layout and OBs. The OBs will also be listed on the PDGA live scoring. NO 2 METER rule.
Weather: As of writing this, there may be potential for some scattered showers Saturday. I don't expect it to impact the day much, but if this is the case, we will assess the situation as needed and take appropriate actions. Please be mindful of the alerts to pause play which will be indicated by 3 blasts of a horn and an alert via PDGA live scoring.
In light of recent events we find it imperative to mention PLEASE DO NOT GO INTO THE WATER. If we see you in the water you will be asked to leave the course.
Payouts and awards will be given out shortly after Round 2 concludes. AMs will receive a voucher payout for PureLine Disc Golf who will be on site with some merch. Pros will be given payment via cash or PayPal.
If no aces are hit, 3 random players will be drawn live on the Taylor Park Disc Golf Club facebook page and will receive 50%, 30%, 20% of the pot to be paid via PayPal.
