Hello Tom! The $30 facilities fee helps to off-set the increasing costs for the event host to rent venues(which we require all facilities to be closed for our players which leads to a higher fee) and facilities(portable toilets, water stations, etc.), while the $10 non-refundable registration fee helps the PDGA to off-set a portion of the considerable expense for PDGA staff and Marshals to travel to and work the event.
