Week 3 was another sellout, as we turned away 20+ people. I hate doing that, but I have to be strict about capping at 54 people. I'm sorry to those of you that got there and waited in line but didn't get in. Perhaps this is a call-to-action for someone else to step up and run a local league on a different night (Dairy Creek on Thursday, maybe?). It's up to everyone in line to police each other. There is no cutting/ spot holding for friends. Please be respectful of each other and get there early!
Anyway, back to disc golf. We had nice calm conditions until the rain found us at the very end. Hopefully we can get some dry and warm weather so the course can finally dry out.
At the top this week was the teams of Brody Cannon/ Rick Ciani and Noah McDaniel/ Matt Nation; both at -16. Brody put one close in the throw-off to secure First Place. ????
Wild Discs was the prize sponsor this week, donating an Angler (overstable mid) for the CTP on a modified Hole 6 (basket to the right, on the mound) and a Sea Otter (putter) for Longest Putt on the modified Hole 2 (marksman basket to the right). Congrats to Jared Heister and Brian Kyaw for winning those!
