Disc Golfers!

Welcome to the 2022 Sierra Spring Cup! We will be playing 2 rounds of 21 holes at the beautiful Three Links Disc Golf Course here in Tuolumne County. This is mountain disc golf, so come prepared with good shoes, plenty of snack and drinks, and your high elevation discs. I do not use a cart at Three Links, but it can be done.

We’d like to thank our presenting sponsor, Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort. Dodge Ridge is currently installing Whitethorn Disc Golf Course, a lift accessed championship level course, with plans for another next year. Whitethorn DGC will open Memorial Day Weekend – watch for an announcement of the festivities!

Parking and Respecting the Camp: The Three Links camp has been an enthusiastic supporter of disc golf, and the operators of the camp have kept the course in great shape. Please respect the camp by picking up your garbage and parking in proper areas. There is plenty of parking on the lower level of the camp. Camp staff may direct you to the best spots to park.

Schedule: Sign in from 0730 to 0830 at Tournament Central up by the pool. Players meeting at 0830. First round tee off at 0900. Second round will start one hour after the last card arrives from the first round. We will have an awards ceremony after the second round.
Course Rules: All PDGA rules apply. No OB and no 2 meter rule. The wood rounds near the basket on Hole 8 are part of the course and should not be moved. Hole distances can be found on the live scorecard.

Live Scoring: We will be using live scoring, with a paper backup. For live scoring, go to www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/login. The access code is “Spring”. Cellular coverage is spotty at Three Links. The camp has WiFi between at Tournament Central and between holes 15 and 1. Load up live scoring before you arrive, or where you get coverage. Finalize scores at the end in an area where you get coverage. Please turn in the paper copies at the end of each round.

Trophies and Payout: Trophies are available for first through third place in all divisions. Amateur Players will be paid out in scrip from OTB Discs. Pro players will be paid out via PayPal. Please make sure that the email you signed up with will work for payouts!

Players Pack: We are spring cleaning here at the Sierra Spring Cup. Amateur Players will get a Players Pack of leftovers from previous Tuolumne County tournaments – sign in early to get your pick of discs, shirts, classes, or hats. The money saved on players packs will go towards payouts.

CTP: Dodge Ridge Mountain Resorts is sponsoring Closest to Pin prizes on Hole 15. A summer pass to hiking and disc golf at Dodge Ridge will be awarded for CTP winners in each division. CTP prizes will be awarded after the second round – you will have two chances to win!
