I am an amateur player, is there a system to better determind what filed I "should" play in? Is it done by your rating? I am better than my current PDGA rating, but also want to challenge myself by playing up .. thanks!! Apr 28, 2022

The pdga has “guidelines” when it comes to division. You can play in any division OR up any division for which you are rated. So if you 903 or 850 you can play Rec or go as high as advanced. Keep in mind, the courses layouts are selected so that it will challenge you based on the division you are rated. It’s often good to play in the division you are rated to (>905 recreational -ma3) 905-935 Intermediate (ma2) and above in advanced.
