We had 9 Pro players and 12 Am players out to McCourtie Park this Thursday for 18 holes of Grand River Union Singles. It was warm but windy.
On the pro side Joel Coppernoll had the hot round of -7 for the win and $25. JGrow and Red Beard both shot a -4 and tied for second. JGrow won the throw off and took home $15 second place money. Red Beard took $5 for third place and last cash.
On the Am side, Andrew Stevens had the hot round of -2 and won $30 in merch for first place. Nick Dobbin shot a -1 for second place and $15 in merch. Alex Dowley and Jeff Freeland tied for third place. Alex won the throw off for third place and $10 in merch. Jeff took $5 in merch for last cash.
Nick Dobbins got the $10 cash CTP on hole 5. Red Beard took the $10 merch CTP on hole 14. Big Country took the $11 cash CTP on hole 17.
Ace Pool is up to $499. We will be at McCourtie Park again this Sunday at 1pm for random draw doubles. We will be at Ella Sharp Park next Thursday at 5:30pm for the next round of singles. Hope to see you all out there!
