Curtis I am personally aware of the new rules changes to true amateur events.. doesn't make it cool at all tho lol...They basically take our money to payout the pros, then pretend that our player pack was worth $900+ ...Am players are what pushes this sport forward, pros don't buy merch..pros don't by discs...most top pros don't even pay for tournament entries their sponsors do...The AM tournaments that do modified payouts for am divisions are the best tournaments. The Am tournaments that have snack stations thruout the course are awesome as well. Overall this tournament was awesome and very well ran, all the workers were awesome as well! But let's not pretend the player pack was amazing...They didn't even give us a dry fit shirt, the shirt wasn't even collared... They gave us a shirt that we technically are not even supposed to wear in an A Tier.

Personally I asked well before the event if they could give a rough teaser of what player pack would have similar to ledgestone. And they didnt give any information but assured it was worth it based on last year. Last year they got a nice backpack so i decided to still play and give benefit of the doubt. I will not be playing again if it is true amateur and the players pack isnt disclosed ahead of time. No shot this was worth the entry fee.

Because Curtis I am an Am player. I play AM...But I see what you re saying, rather than bringing up what a joke the players pack was maybe I should just stop complaining and play pro... ???? Again why do people get so defensive when Am players complain about the player pack, it's literally all we play for. Other than that we are just donating money. TD's need to stop doing less and less for AMS. When it's the AMS that make this level of tournament possible! Go ahead for e all the ams to move to pro see how many big A Tiers are left to fund the pros.
