Point system explanation: Players receive points based on their handicapped order of finish each week. The number of points received is determined by the number of players for that week. First place receives points equal to the total number of players, and each subsequent place receives 1 point less, down to last place, which receives 1 point. (Another way to think of it is that you receive one point for showing up, and one more point for each player you finish higher than). If two players' handicap-adjusted scores are tied, whichever player has the lower raw (unadjusted) score gets the higher number of points. If players are tied in both raw and adjusted scores (e.g., both shot a 55 and both have handicaps of -5, so that both players' adjusted scores are 50), then the total points for the places occupied by the tied scores are added and then divided equally between the tied players (e.g., if two players tied for 10th place out of 20, there would be 11 points for 10th place and 10 for 11th place, so the two places share 21 total points, or 10.5 points each).
