Hello Everyone,
I hope this email finds you all in good health and ready to play in the Perkerson Park Open MMXXII on Sunday morning!!
First and Foremost; please take note that SUNDAY MORNING IS THE START OF DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME. (We will lose 1 hour overnight so, when you start to check-in at 7:30am, it's gonna really feel like 6:30am.)
SET YOUR ALARMS EARLY!!!!! The tournament will not wait for you. If you drop after 8PM tonight, (Saturday March 12) or miss check-in, you will not receive a refund. You can still pick up your player's pack or arrange to have it shipped to you if you are an amateur. IF YOU ARE ON THE WAITLIST; if players drop on Sunday morning and you want to play, you need to be at check-in as if you were on the players list and ready to standby. I cannot guarantee you a spot but you MUST BE ON THE WAITLIST to be considered. You will not receive a refund if you do not get promoted to the players roster.
Next up; Pool A is MPO, MA1 & MA40 and is denoted in BOLD BLACK TEXT in the caddy/rule book. Pool B is FA1, MA2 & MA3 and is denoted in BOLD RED TEXT. Preliminary card groupings have been set and posted for Round 1. Those may change as players drop and waitlisters are promoted. They should be set in stone by 8PM tonight, (Saturday March 12th) (if there are any drops overnight Saturday and the morning of, they will slightly change again.) The PDGA did away with ghost cards except for emergencies so there are FOUR 5somes. Consider it an honor if you have to play on a card with a fifth player.
OUT OF BOUNDS: ALL CREEKS ARE OB. ALL ORANGE LINES ARE OB. ALL PARKING LOTS AND ROADS ARE OB. THE SIDEWALK THAT INTERSECTS HOLE 2 AND 3 FAIRWAYS IS NOT OB UNLESS YOU CROSS THE ORANGE LINE BETWEEN HOLE 2 AND 3. STANDING WATER IN FAIRWAYS ARE NOT HAZARDS OR OB. TAKE YOUR OB SHOT FROM THE LAST PLACE YOU WERE INBOUNDS WITH 1 METER OF RELIEF.
IF IT TAKES LONGER THAN 10 SECONDS FOR YOUR CARD TO COME TO A CONSENSUS; "IT'S IN!!"
Caddy/Rule Book is DIGITAL ONLY in PDF format and can be accessed on your smartphone. Please familiarize yourself with the rules and OB and download a copy to your device so that you have it on you. If you want a paper copy, you must print it yourself.
Pack in/Pack out ALL OF YOUR TRASH!!!
SCORING: Official Scoring will be on PDGA.com/scoring. The access code is PPO2022. UDisc Live Scoring will be used in lieu of paper cards. Each Pool will have their own check-in and UDisc cards will be set manually after your card has reached their starting hole. There is a separate event for each round. Be sure to check-in to the correct event and round.
CASH OPTIONS:
$10 for FOUR $2 CTP's and $2 Ace Pot for all Pools
$20 side action paid out to Top 33% in each Pool.
$30 ALL-IN
ALL CASH OPTIONS WILL BE PAID OUT AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT. MPO PURSE WILL BE PAID OUT VIA PAYPAL WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT.
Again, I cannot reiterate enough how important it is for you to be ON-TIME. Please take all precautions to prevent yourself from being late or not showing. If you wake up and can't play, PLEASE NOTIFY ME ASAP via txt or phone call! (470-345-6654) Any drops after 8PM tonight, (Saturday March 12, 2022) will not receive a refund.

Award Ceremony: On site at conclusion. (approximately 4:30PM)
