Players,
Thanks for playing in the 2022 NADGT Exclusive @ Bell Park!
PARKING (see map in Pictures tab): There will be multiple events at Bell Park this Saturday, so parking will be tight. Due to a pickleball tournament, the first small lot by Hole 1’s teepad will not be available. Due to a wedding, NO ONE is allowed to park in the main parking area by the pavilion. Our main parking area and Tournament Central will be near the amphitheater by the soccer fields. If that lot fills up, there is additional parking available at the top of the park. Any disc golfer who parks in the main parking lot reserved for the wedding will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Check-in will begin at 7:45am. ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN THE MORNING OF THE EVENT. Full players' packs will be available for anyone who signed up before the shipping cutoff. If your full pack is not available in the morning, the remaining items will be mailed to the address you provided at registration.
Ace Pot: There will be an optional $5 ace pot. Make sure you get in on that when you check in! If no aces are hit during either round, we will throw off before the awards.
Hole Assignments will be posted Friday evening. The event is a shotgun start. We will start at 9:00 a.m. That means you should be on your hole and ready to throw at 9:00 a.m.
Water: Players are encouraged to provide their own water for the event, but WAFDA will be providing some coolers with water for refilling.
Lunch: You will have a minimum of one hour for lunch after the last card is turned in. We will post the second-round tee time on the PDGA page as well as the Facebook event page. That can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/487630859536832
OB Sheets will be available digitally, but printed copies will be available for each card. They are attached to this email and are loaded into the PDGA digital scorecard.
Scoring: We will use PDGA Live Scoring for the tournament. pdga.com/score The password is bell. EVERY CARD MUST KEEP A DIGITAL SCORECARD! DON'T FORGET TO FINALIZE YOUR SCORE ONCE THE ROUND IS OVER! Each card must keep two scorecards, preferably both on PDGA Live Scoring. Paper scorecards will be available, but UDisc also works as a good backup.
Playoffs: In the event that multiple players tie for first place in a division, the players will need to play off to determine a winner. Players will play sudden-death stroke play on a loop of Holes 14, 5, 6, 12, and 13. Ties for second place or below will not require a playoff.
Awards: Payout will be earned by the top 25% of each division. Division winners will receive a Trophy Pin - Provided by Disc Golf Pins. Winners will also earn an invitation to the 2022 National Championships in Austin Texas, October 26th-October 29th. Invitations will be extended based on the number of competitors in each qualifying division:
5-10: 1 invite
11-20: 2 invites
21-30: 3 invites
31-40: 4 invites
41+: 5 invites
Winners of any division with 12 or more players will earn free entry into the Arkansas NADGT State Championships on July 30-31st at JB Hunt Park in Springdale, AR!
Let us know if you have any questions. Look forward to seeing everyone on the course! Make sure to join the Facebook event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/487630859536832) for pictures of the tournament, updates, and more!
