Tar River Round Up XI Players Meeting Email
(This Email will serve in place of a Player’s Meeting)
First off, Thank you for attending the Tar River Round Up XI Presented by Star Frame Discs
Address of the course entrance is 720 Sims Bridge Road, Franklinton, NC 27525
Follow this driveway to the end for Tournament Central. Parking is on either side of the road please pull as far down the driveway as possible before parking to ensure there is room for everyone.
Practice Day

Scoring
Scoring will be available through both PDGA as well as on paper, I would really like to see as many PDGA scores as possible but service may not allow. PDGA Access Code
Schedule
Check - In will start at 7:30am at Tournament Central
Round 1 Shotgun Starts at approximately 9am
There will be a 1 hr and 15 minute break between the rounds to ensure everyone has enough time to get lunch. There will be an on site lunch of Hotdogs with chips and a drink provided by Kerry Hawkins (Course Owner) Please bring cash if you think you would prefer on site lunch.
Tee time will be posted to PDGA as well as Star Frame Discs Facebook Page so please be sure to like our page if you plan to be leaving the course for lunch. Cards will shuffle at lunch based on scoring and posted to PDGA.
After Round 2 we will have awards and payout.
Awards and Payout
Trophies for 1st place in each division
Payout to the top 40% of each field from Star Frame Discs on site inventory
(Note: Pro Payout will be sent electronically so please do not leave before checking with a member of the Star Frame staff to give us the correct email)
Ace Pool will also be sent digitally, If it is not hit during PDGA play, we will throw for a CTP to determine who takes home the cash, Only those registered for the ace pool are eligible for this CTP competition. (If you are unsure please check over your DGS registration info before the event) I will also accept day of entries. Any ace pool entries made digitally after the time of this email should be sure to remind the Tournament Director before tournament play begins.
Reminder: This is a PDGA tournament. Public display of alcohol or drug use is prohibited and will be ruled by PDGA guidelines, please do not make me have to be the bad guy.
Please be respectful of the course property and pack out anything you pack in. Kerry works very hard to keep this course looking nice for the community to enjoy.
Tar River only has one set of teepads so, I have attached hole distances below.
Course OBs
Hole 8 : Road and Beyond
Hole 17: Rivers edge marked by flags and beyond. If your disc goes over the edge please do not attempt to retrieve it by jumping into the rivers bank. I have a retriever pole you can borrow during lunch or after the round if needed.
Hole 18 : Rivers edge and beyond, this can change slightly with rainfall during the week. Any disc that is surrounded by water or completely to the left of the bank is OB and should not be retrieved unless using a tool.
